June 3

Just in time for the birthday of the  beautiful  and brilliant (like all the K girls) Kelsey Joan.  Here's hoping the new room in the new house is  shaping  up.  How great to have an Aunt Francie to help with  the decorating.

June 4

is the 51st anniversary of Joan and Andy, on  the day of the biggest recorded solar flare ever.

June 9

is the birthday of Mary Star and Monica Joan,  mothers of some very TALL progeny.  You think we are  tall!  They are all out of the house and making  their  way into the world now...Look out, world!

June 11

is the birthday of baby brother Mikey.  Do I  mention every year how Mom called me in my dorm room  at Michigan State to tell me she apparently hadn't  gone thru menopause after all, and she was going to  have an 11th child at age 46?!!!  I was embarrassed  to  tell my classmates.  But Dad went ga-ga over the  kid.

June 11

is also the birthday of my granddaughter  Sophie, and my dear friend Mark Lindsay, whom my  siblings remember, I think.

June 13

is the anniversary of Mike and Nancy's  union.  Not too long until the 50th...that's a party we all  want to join in on!

June 23

is Herbert Seiler's birthday.  I don't know  if  he'll be in Reno then?

June 25

is the anniversary of Paul and Peggy's  wedding, which I remember so well because, as the  flower girl, I got to wear a lavender taffeta dress!
